Job Opening – Director of Diversity and Inclusion
Duchesne High School is a college-preparatory Catholic High School located in St. Charles, MO.  Our mission is to educate the individual student as a whole person: mind, body and spirit.  Duchesne currently has an opening for aDirector of Diversity and Inclusion.  The Director of Diversity and Inclusion reports directly to the principal and works with the administration and student life team to implement a comprehensive set of programs, services, and activities that develop cultural competence around issues of social justice, race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and inclusion. 
Job Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership in the areas of diversity and inclusion rooted in the school’s mission and strategic plan
• Act as a resource on issues pertaining to social justice, diversity, and inclusion for faculty in their work with students and in their development of curriculum and programs
• Coordinate the development of working relationships with students, faculty, and parents and for managing the personal, political, and institutional dynamics related to issues pertaining to social justice, diversity, and inclusion
• Teach up to 2 classes in an area of academic expertise

Knowledge and Experience:

• General Knowledge of the Catholic Church
• Proven experience in developing and facilitating programs that support the academic and social enrichment of students and the broader School community
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain collegial relationships with administrators, faculty, students, and parents 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to develop and implement short and long-term strategic goals with meaningful and measurable outcomes
• Experience as a teacher and teacher-leader with deep knowledge of pedagogy, curriculum, and adolescent development
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in education, educational administration, or a related field
